Lifelong learning is becoming an imperative today, and IAU is a great place to earn a degree no matter how old you are! I was not only given the opportunity to teach ESL as part of IAU’s faculty but also was encouraged to obtain my online MBA degree. Having a family means little free time, but the online courses gave me enough flexibility to study. Both the instructors and IAU Staff were very helpful and responsive whenever I had a question or any other study-related issues.
As an educator and someone working with international students, I have always been interested in the human aspects of management as well as in international relations. Therefore, 3 particular classes were especially interesting and beneficial: Human Resource Management, Business Ethics, and International Economics. They gave me a deeper understanding of and appreciation for global management skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in an international environment. IAU’s classes provided me with practical managerial skills that I may use further in my career at the California Air Resources Board. The flexibility of IAU’s online classes gives everyone – within or outside the US – an opportunity to obtain a degree and pursue a career. The offered classes and programs provide students with relevant, practical skills and knowledge.
