Apart from gaining the knowledge through learning and studying the course materials, there are others that are applicable to planning career. The career counseling department plays an instrumental role in assisting the student get a potential job.
To me, learning business communication and strategy is really important as we prepare for a new role. Specifically, seeking career advice or counseling from the school is benefiting the students like me.
Needless to say, referral or networking is very important as well. If we know someone who has been working in a particular company for a while and has been of a great asset to the company, which can be very helpful to us as potential job seekers especially fresh graduates.
