I found the mix teaching system and methods implemented at PBS, an IAU affiliate (ASC) in Nepal, enhanced the learning experience immersion programs, mentored study, simulations, team challenges, practicums and ‘toolbox’ of competencies to solve problems and face the real world. I always remember Asst. Professor Dr. Dhurba Kumar Gautam, who has tutored us for several HR subjects like Change Management, Labor Relation, and Legislations, guided his expertise for dealing up with articles and research papers which is very much essential for sphere of study and profession.

While some classes were devoted entirely to working with case studies, others were primarily lecture-based. And many employ a combination of practical teaching styles by instructors, which were always fascinating. College always focused on student participation and leadership rather than professor-led lecture and discussion only. Also, staffs work effectively with their peers and provided the best student services.

The methods for an MBA at PBS caters to different learning styles and has specific skills and topics which it develops best. In order to provide the best possible education, PBS employs a combination of practicum teaching styles. Being an MBA student specializing in HR, articles and research papers analysis, taking part in international conferences for paper presentation on HR issues with other international presenters, industrial visit to national and international (India) industries, were unforgotten which has marked a “footprint” for developing my career in the field of management.

Moreover, with the state-of-the-art facilities, gaining MBA in sophisticated environment with no compromises in academics (both theory and practice) our batches were privileged to fulfill both infrastructural and academia excellences. Also, online access to various study materials of IAU sparked my studies exploring world to me.

Practical Teaching Method deployed in MBA program like team project, experiential learning, capstone projects/research projects, immersion programs, mentored study has always made me READY to cope up with any sort of managerial challenges and operations.

Focusing on practicums were the fundamental back support. For example, assisting professors at their lectures during my MBA guided me to become lecturer for MBA & BBA competing many doctorates immediately after completion of my MBA being selected at one of the reputed college by immediate past Dean, Tribhuwan University (largest university of Nepal), Faculty of Management. It happened all because of PBS (ASC of IAU).

Being Student Advisor for MBA and BBA during my study period (while doing MBA) at PBS; networking platform were maximum; having access to both students and staffs arena. College initiative for HR Meet, Placement Day, Conferences, Visits, Research and many others were always beneficial for me to build strong repo with corporate figures and influencing persona including IAU delegates. Given full time for college, I take sometime for media as well where I produce programs in national television of Nepal, specially talk shows where the initial projects were done based upon my networking that I had made during my MBA.

“Metaphorically speaking, learning at PBS is being able to do a jig-saw by picking the right pieces to form a perfect picture out of a jumbled collection of partial images. That is to say, my indistinct goal is now finding its shape and my aspiration for an ideal career also seems close to realization.”

The class size is standard where students have equal access for envolvement, engagement and innovation. Flexibility at PBS is on class timing for MBA program, which groomed and blended class with diversified professional which will give you a real flavor of an MBA. Further getting IAU degree here in Nepal maintaining international standard, discipline and recognition is a matter of pride. So, be part of international community that is IAU and unlock your potentiality.

Good Luck to all IAU Family! 🙂 Testimonial posted May, 2016.
